All main lifts operating, up to one meter of snow on the 3,000 meter high Kitzsteinhorn glacier and varied events further contributed to a very positive result in the month of December 2012. Compared to last year, the statistics in Zell am See has a growth rate of 13.46 percent. Moreover Kaprun recorded an increase of 8.91 percent. A well thought out marketing strategy and a varied tourist services led the region to this outstanding development of overnight stays.
