Summer/autumn have ended so it is time to update the ski-pass information from our article regarding season 2016/2017.

The breaking news is the merger of Salzburg Super Ski Card and Kitzbuhel All Star Card. As of last winter season, you can buy a ski pass that covers the unbelievable range of 2750 km of white slopes out of which 2100 can be treated with technical snow. This means no less than 25 ski areas of Salzburgerland and Tirol!

If you buy this card, your winter season has already started on October 15 and will last 199 days and you will be able to choose out of 925 ski lifts.

The season card comes at at a price of EUR 697 when bought till December 6 or EUR 774 when bought after that date. A 6 day ski pass is EUR 253 or EUR 272 for adults and EUR 136 for children.

Similar to last year, the Ski Alpin Card is still an option for skiers interested in Zell am See, Kaprun and Saalbach-Hinterglemm. With this card, you can ski or snowboard on more than 400 km of slopes, use 121 lifts and according to the official press release, 6 month of snow is guaranteed.

The early bird price of the season card (when bought before December 6) is EUR 546, later in the season it costs EUR 648.

For those who do not need to swallow too many kilometers, there is of course still the ‘local’ Zell am See and Kaprun card or even Piesendorfer Naglkoepfl or Niedernsiller child lift option. Please feel free to ask us to get details, prices, opening times etc.
